What we’re doing now

Jason

It has been a busy first quarter of 2016.  Work has dominated most of my time and is likely to continue to be all consuming for the second quarter of 2016.

What am I working on right now?

  • Being a good husband and father.
  • Health.  Lost 11.4kg since 8 February 2016.
  • Plotting the next family holiday. Hong Kong Disney keeps popping up.  Maybe a sneaking trip to Perth for an extended weekend.
  • createreadshare.com.au.  Found a good programmer now just need to identify the minimum viable product and get cracking.  Penny has been enjoying the stories and asks for a mix of online and physical books before bed.  I have 15 users and I am looking to find up to 100 families that would like to be part of this journey.
  • Pancakes in the Park will make its return on 1 May 2016. If you are in Darwin and want to find out more, email me for details.
  • TEDxDarwin is back on Saturday, 6 August 2016.  Call for speakers is out now.  Current priority is to get a committee together.
  • I am the NT Regional Secretary for the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust. Applications close on 15 May.

What am I working on right now?

  • Kindergym every week with Dad.  Great for my coordination and general motor skills. I love the trampoline and the rings and running.
  • Swimming – this is a priority for me at the moment.
  • Creche two days a week – great to catchup with friends.
  • Counting – 1-10 down pat, now working on 11-20.
  • Creative play – love my new kitchen and doll house, many hours of fun!

Those are our priorities. Anything outside of them is not a priority. (repeat!)

When our activities or priorities change, we’ll update this page.
